Well, regardless of your answer... it's fixed. The problem was that your installation of Windows does not have a default browser (or at least not one that Jaikuroo could find). Now, it'll try a little bit harder and if need be, crash more gracefully.

@troed - I have the same problem, Jaikuroo says I got my username or API key wrong although they're right. What do you mean with "Jaikuroo does not pick up proxy settings"?
in the win client, if I could mouseover and get the basic window to enter in an update, hit enter and the window would close, update sent - that would be freakin cool.
Had the same issue with the username/API key. I'm not behind a proxy, tried this at two different locations, with same result. My updates are for contacts only, don't know if it has anything to do.
I don't know if this is a bug or just me, but on my computer the You and Your Friends Presence are not showing up. Public presence is perfect, my presence is perfect.
has anyone ever gotten anything to work with Jaiku? I give severapps my key and UN and it says incorrect. This is why I would rather use more established sites with a better auth system.
